Hi Michel
As already mentioned - Church Lads Brigade Training Corps. It's not a "sweetheart" badge as such, it was worn by members in civilian clothes. The CLB Training Corps was formed in 1913 and was later renamed the CLB Junior Training Corps, at which time they adopted a slightly different badge. I'm not sure when the name change took place but it's possible that your badge is quite early. David |

However, it certainly provided recruits to the Army during WW1; particularly to the King's Royal Rifle Corps. I think at one time it was also affiliated to this regiment in some way. I'm sure other members will be able to provide additional information. David Last edited by davidwyke; 15-02-16 at 05:30 PM. |

The CLB Training Corps was, at one time, a cadet unit of the KRRC.
