Unknown patch
I have been told this is a South African patch. It may not be an Army one.
Thank you John |

Hi John,
I have never seen it before and doubt that it is South African. Regards Mike |

Could it be something to do with the Red Cross? They have (or at least used to have) the Salamander Swimming Club.

Hi John
A patch like yours (perhaps the same badge?) was advertised for sale not too long ago. I can't remember where I saw it but I am fairly sure it was in South Africa and listed as an unidentified 'military' item. If it actually is South African perhaps it is a school/Scout/Guide/Voortrekker (Voortrekker as in the Afrikaans version of Boy Scouts) badge. Regards Craig |

Thank you. I got with some other S.A. military patches but it was listed as an unknown. There must be more than one of them as I got mine in a private transaction. I will have to look into that possibility. Thanks again John |
