Default 1st Cadet Btn KRRC cap vs collar badge

It is my understanding this regiment wore no collar badges on service dress.

That being said Westlake has some collars listed…
I have seen similar badges (in size) voided and not voided under the Celer Et Audax tablet described as collar or cap badges.

What are the differences b/w cap and collar badges? Or are they the same?

Thanks!

Todd

That’ll probably be, ‘British Army Collar Badges 1881 to Present’, Pub. Arms & Armour - ISBN: 0853688958

Can’t see a mention in that book. However, Churchill ‘History of the British Army Infantry Collar Badge’ shows at 1473 and 1474 collar badges 1st Cadet Battalion K.R.R.C.

You are 100% correct. Wrong author cited…that’s the picture I saw in my copy of Churchill.
Was just wondering if the cap and collar badges where the same size or even the same badge.

Thanks Mike! I appreciate the help. I figure they are all the same size.
