anyone know what unit MED. ST. C. stands for on a qsa medal.

Think it could be Medical Station

I think it stands for medical staff corps. That was a title that had disappeared in the regular army when the RAMC were formed but there were still Militia and Volunteer units of the MSC around during the Boer War. They sent selected volunteers to South Africa to augment the RAMC. Regards, Andrew.
