It could be a heraldic badge from one of the noble families?

Default collar badge

HI. Pretty sure this is a Radley College OTC officers collar badge. Their motto mentions snakes and doves! Sicut serpente, sicut columbae. I had a pair once and reckoned that was a positive I'd. Needs a good photo to confirm. Andrew.

that sounds good, I had looked at some mytholigy and symbolism on the web ,
Something like intelect over agression which would fit for an OTC unit.
Many thanks, Kev

It would be CCF, they don't have an OTC at Radley, although in fairness they may have had in the past. There is a snake and a dove featured on the college coat of arms here http://www.radley.org.uk/userfiles/i...rary/crest.jpg but I can't find any images of the badge to confirm this is the right one.
