and I take it Philip that you, like me do not remember these subdued flashes in authorized service? I don't want to get into pissing matches,I just want to know the facts on these as I continue to hear much speculation without any tangible evidence...Some colour photos would be great to see....

....on another note Mike, have you seen this?... http://news.nationalpost.com/2010/08...-petes-patrol/

I bought them for $10.00 each plus shipping. I think I'll take the rest of them.

No I was offered $50.00 each and I sold Two on last remembrance day after they flashed the money in my face. I have 6 more.

I got all the info on that Patch and the wings that goes with it, From the Airborne Kite Shop and the Museum

What purpose is there to hiding them away and implying you have a supply of them (since you can sell them for $50 each)?
I have my reasons why I don't want to show the wings in question. Fantasy for you not for me as the wings you'll never see
me post that picture for a very long time or till I get another set I got the @ this morning concerning both.

Well I was there in 1980 and after a year by that time nobody knew about them.

Like the wings only worn by a few in 1980 only, then the big wigs at the Regiment decided to Shelf the wings and the OSONS patch.

Fantasy Patches you all keep believing that better for me.

Fined me CF. Airborne wings completely in Subdued Green I'll give you $50.00 right now.

The OSONS Patch as the wings came as a set. Those wings appeared in 1980 and I was there and saw them with my own eyes, and had one on my jump-Smock.
But I never saw the OSONS Patch.

Poor us indeed. If I was selling $10.00 badges to veterans for $50.00 I would:
a. Make sure I was declaring my income to Customs and Revenue.
b. Spend the money on a basic English writing course so that my postings might make a modicum of sense.
c. Do a bit of soul searching to figure out why I would brag to the world about ripping people off.
