Hi,

I have had this badge for a number of years but have always been very suspect about its authenticity.

I would expect a flat backed die-cast badge in-line with most OSD's. This appears from the weight, to be die-cast from a die-struck pattern.

Does anyone else have one to compare with.

Thanks

Andy

Andy,

It looks to all intent and purposes to be a gilding metal badge with a slider removed, 2 blades fitted and painted with a brown gloss paint.

Not an original OSD badge in my opinion.

regards

I agree with Simon. It also lacks the voided chin.

Thanks guys. You just confirmed what I already suspected. Good to get a second opinion though.

I would still like to see a genuine one, if anyone has one, just to confirm what I need to look out for on a genuine badge.

Thanks
Andy
