Unfortunately it is one of a series of duds produced in brass, white metal, bi metal ( including reversed metals ) and with a bronze finish. Peter

The give-away for this one is the backward bending hind legs and the 'furry' body!!

Paul, it / they are definitely fakes but the THE "KINGS" is correct for the geniune badges too.
The officer's ones by Firmin have the same but Gaunt and J&Co have THE KING'S - as do a couple of post 1st WW badges. The 1926 Pattern made the KING'S for the rest of the regiment's badges. |
