Malayan Scouts Badge
Haven't seen this pattern before - it's quite ornate with a lot of bullion.
Was it a missed opportunity, or the world's most expensive blazer badge? Graham https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/British-S...p2047675.l2557

It seems, in my opinion, that LTC James R. Harrington like Vincent Price had a huge collection but no real knowledge of badges.

I have watched several auctions from this collection. A lot of hype but not much there. The Malayan Scout Badge was a big question mark for me. But obviously some collectors felt otherwise

I don't think this Malayan Scouts badge was a period-made piece. To my eye, the wing material and style aren't correct. I agree with others that the collection does hold many nice original pieces.
