Default Devonshire Yeomanry RFA

Hi all, I have being looking at examples of this badge on dealer sites - Royal North Devonshire Hussars Yeomanry R.F.A. Cap Badge. One dealer describes the badge as bronze. K & K has the badge(ref 1454) as gilding metal. The 2 I have viewed appear to be blackened brass. Does anyone on the forum own one and know what is correct metal for the badge ? Confused...Mark
