Default 15th/19th The King's Royal Hussars Cap Badge

Hello All,

Though I don't collect British insignia, I recently "rescued" this lovely badge from a local coin shop. It appears to be original & well used. I did a cursory search, and I realize that the regiment was formed in 1922. I would appreciate if someone can provide a date of manufacture for the badge.

Additionally, if anyone is interested in adding this beauty to their collection, I am willing to part with the badge. I have no clue as to the value, so will rely on an honest offer. Cheers,

Walt

** bump **

Would someone be kind enough to provide me with the period of which this badge would have been worn? Thank you,

Walt

Maker mark on slider suggests a post WW2 manufacture, King's Crown in the crest a pre 1953.

Yeah I would think so! 96 next birthday as well.

Also, I recently acquired some personal effects belonging to a 2nd Lt in A Squadron 15th/19th - followed up with some research I've actually managed to contact his son and get some more info!
