Default Bleuet coin

A pleasant surprise. Found among my euro coins change: Commemorative French 2 euros coin depicting stylised bleuet (Cornflower), the French WW1 symbol akin to the British poppy. Inscription translates as "The cornflower of France, flower of remembrance and solidarity 1918-2018"

Interesting, not that Id've looked at the design and thought it was of a cornflower.

True, but it was the legend and date that clinched it. The design is true to the stylised shape of 'buttonhole' bluets, but I didn't recognise at first. To me it was a coin I hadn't seen before.
