Default Canadian Scottish cap badge

This is a new acquisition. It is maker marked Ludlow London. Nice striking and heavier badge than my other Birks and Scully marked Canadian Scottish badges. My first instinct was an officers badge. Any comments appreciated. Could do with a good cleaning which I have not done yet.

Default Rear of Canadian Scottish badge

I should have mentioned the badge has a slight dome shape to it.

I would say officer's. Ludlow made a number of officers' badges for Canadian regiments. I would assume that it is silver.

I agree with Phillip, an officer's badge and most likely silver. Nice one, congrats.

Cheers,

Adam
