Saw this news article and thought it was worth posting in case anyone gets offered a job lot. (A long shot I know).

This is very sad, and I can only imagine how he must feel. A local collector lost his collection in a fire and several other local collector and I donated what we could to help him restart his collection.
I have reached out to the paper to see if there is a way I can get in contact with him and will see what I might be able to send him from my old collection of WW1 badges. If anyone knows him or a way to contact him, please let me know. Terry |

Hi terry, do let me know if you make contact, as I am the treasurer of our local tri service association, and may be able to donate something. Thanks Andrew

Just heard a good quote:
The kind of person who would steal a medal is not the kind of person who would earn a medal! Tim

Out of respect to the members, I will not tell you what I think of someone who would do something like this. The same as I feel about people who dump pets out just because they no longer wnat them, and if you know me then you know how I love God's lesser creatures. Be assured, they are not "nice"!
