Firmin Buttons & Ribbons
I have bought a collection of these because I like them, the buttons vary in size but are around 19mm, most are metal and maked FIRMIN one is black plastic.
But I'm left with a couple of questions. Are they in any way official or just souvenir ware? Do I have the full set? Can anyone put a date to them based on the Regiments and Corps represented? There are a couple for sale on the CADETDIRECT website [Worcs. & Sherwood Fors. / Light Inf.] They say that they are made for them by a MOD approved supplier. I'm afraid I can't do links and I have no connection to the sellers.

Rob,
They are likely to be this set: Here is the original sales flyer for the Danbury Mint set of "Regimental Buttons & Ribbons of the British Army”. As it includes the KRH, PWRR, RGBW and RLC it is post 1994. Purchased by subscription each button with ribbon cost £5.45 and there was a frame available for £25. So 68 buttons plus frame cost about £400. Tim

Hi Bill, it does look good framed, I'm tempted to do mine but perhaps with glass?
Could you show a close up picture of your Royal Irish Regiment, I'm not sure why mine seems to be a second Irish Guards Button rather than the correct pattern. Rob

Hi Rob,
My frame with miniature medals is behind glass and looks better but this one is a bit bulky for me to get glass on. I've looked at mine and you are right, they're both IG buttons. Never noticed that when I got them but I wasn't really into buttons then. Bill
