Now I can see the beautiful HP. I understand it is very rare. As the regiment started life in 1909, I can imagine that they only procured a limited number of Full dress uniforms with Home Service Helmets for special occasions.

I think my one piece Norfolk has a white metal Britannia soldered on as does your badge.

I see what you mean about the Herts HPC possibly being repaired, due to the scarcity of these badges could they have been worn only by the members of the band.

Thanks to both Andrew and Wilf who have conclusively proven there is/was a Hertfordshire HPC, all of which means it remains on my 'Wish List' even if the chances of finding one are remote.

However, and returning to my initial post, I'm still ever-hopeful that someone, somewhere has one of the other HPCs shown. If you do then please PM me and let me know what you would be looking for it/them.
