Help identifying my father's cap badge

Hello to you all
I am trying to identify my father's WWWII regiment from this cap badge - rather grainy I am afraid, but he lost a lot of material with water damage to a container when her returned to the UK, so this is the only photo that I have.
Any help would be much appreciated.
