The fakes are thinner, and quite light, also if you place the badge on your index and middle finger, then apply a little pressure with your thumb it should not bend!, or of course if you are lucky enough to be given one by the person or persons family!!

I have no provenance at all to go with mine, it was sold as a drivers cap badge. Have you got a picture of a genuine article?

My example is quite heavy and certainly wont bend at all without loads and loads of effort.

I wonder if I can track the seller down!

Only too pleased help!, I regert to say I do not have an original in my collection, although I do have one, but I know thats a fake, but it will do as a gap filler untill the proper thing comes along.
