Default Identification of this Field Service Cap?

This cap came along yesterday. I am not sure which regiment or corps. Initially I had thought RAMC, but some checking suggests they wore a dark blue one? There is a strong possibility this cap was worn by the Canadian militia too.

I was going to type out a list of possible Hussar regiments but Manchester's already put them on this thread:

https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...d+service+caps

I'm often not sure exactly what some of the references are actually showing, some show these Hussar regiments (and other) caps with yellow piping, but I don't know whether the caps did have yellow piping or if the illustrations are based on officer's caps with gold piping and the ORs caps should be unpiped.

That list is for the Second WW; would it be the same for this 1900 dated cap?
