Default PARA BERET BADGE

I know we have all seen these lots of times and I believe post war with a slider but is this a restrike with a makermark of MARPLES & BBEASLEY BIRMINGHAM?

Marples and Beasley only made officers badges, so any ORs with that maker mark should be avoided. The badge itself has the 'blob' on the left wing, another sign of a fake Para badge.
