Le Regt De Hull
Just got this badge - nice badge - nothing special - but nice! My reference says that the "HULL" Regt Officers badge has a SILVER tower in the middle (much like the New Brunswick badge I have included).
The construction of the "HULL" badge is very good and it appears to be 'frosted gold' or 'fire gilt'. Question??? What is the "HULL" badge - a very good OR's badge or a Officers??? Thanks Larry

HI Larry, The finish on modern badges can be very good. It appears to be officer's quality, but I believe the badge that you have is an or's badge.

Yes! Much like the BCD badge, years ago you would have said that it is an Officers, now it is just a very good quality OR's.
So I'll mark it in the collection as an OR's. I thought it would be as all of the examples I have read call for a "Silver" tower. Larry
