Perhaps not the most exciting item but as a Scouser (Liverpudlian) living in the South of England I was pleased to find in a job lot an example of the 6th King’s Liverpool Rifles. This is a cap badge I wore more than 50 years ago as a member of Merchant Taylor’s School, Crosby Combined Cadet Force. Maker marked Lambourne & Co Birmingham.

Nice finds gents, well done.
Mine is definitely this Eritrean Prison Service cap badge in brass on a deep red backing with contemporary stitching presumably compensating for the loss of the upper lug. Still looking for one in white metal and a B.M.A. Prisons Service cap badge to go with this and the Cyrenaica Prisons. All the best Graham

Steve
Mine would be the early version of Edinburgh University OTC cap badge in Anodised Aluminium. Didn't pay a lot for it either. Photo is not too good as i did not want to remove it from the card in case i damaged the slider. Pre 1978 i believe and made by G S Tye & Co. Best Regards to all and happy hunting guys Stay Safe Steve |

Essex Yeomanry find
I bought this little treasure recently, missing it's loops and having traces of varnish on the front and remnants of adhesive on the reverse.
With a little TLC it now has two replaced loops and a bit of a clean. One for my Essex Yeomanry board. Rob |

Rob,
That design of badge does not feature in KK vol 1 or 2, or Gaylor as I can see. Nor is it I believe included in Michael Wood’s wonderful Essex Yeomanry albums or his excellent website on the subject: https://www.essexmilitarybadges.uk/y...n-and-gunners/ It is however present in Martin Marsh’s fake catalogue. I believe it’s a fantasy item. Regards Luke |

I can't pick just one, as I have been very blessed this year with so many pieces I've wanted, so I'll say the friends I've made on this forum top the list!
