Default QA Reserve Metal Rank Pips

I've searched through the forum and found a thread about the cloth pips that were worn, but nothing on the metal pips.

My question is, what metal pips did QA Reserve nurses wear in WW2? Standard issue or did they have special ones?

Thank you,

Terry

Terry I've posted you photo's and they were also posted in one of your threads on information on the rank slide that I sent you I suggest that you look at these as people have gone to the trouble of posting them for you

Thanks David, You're right, my apology to everyone. My various searches did not bring up the thread I posted earlier where Mike Vee shared a picture of the strap with metal buttons that had small red, or dark red maybe, enamel around part of the pips.

Now seeing this, I am not sure how/what these pips are called so that I can seek a set? Would they be Medical/RAMC or QA?

Milmed, I take from your reply that standard, non-enameled pips were also worn.

Thank you, and again, my apology for not looking harder.

Terry
