Default Various Colour Patches for Identification

I recently purchased the pictured Australian formation signs, hoping they would be representative of Second World War badges, but without a clue as to identification. Subsequent internet research has suggested the following tentative units:

1. Royal Australian Artillery 4th Australian Division AIF
2. Australian Army Ordnance Corps Non-Field Units
3. New Guinea L of C Area HQ
4. HQ 24th Australian Infantry Brigade
5. Corps of Australian Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (Field Units
6. Anti-Aircraft Searchlight Units RAE
7. 2/6th Australian Infantry Battalion
8. Royal Australian Artillery HQ 9th Australian Division
9. New South Wales L of C Area

I’m hoping that a member here will kindly confirm or amend those identifications, and advise me if the badges are oriented incorrectly.

1. Going by the type of cloth it is probably the first pattern RAA 9th Aust Division 1940-42. Worn with the colour break diagonally, some units worn it blue to the front, others red to the front.
2. Correct, AIF personnel, 1942-45.
3. HQ Victoria Line of Communication Area, AIF personnel, 1942-45.
4. First pattern HQ 24th Aust Infantry Brigade, 1940-42.
5. Correct, AIF personnel, 1942-45.
6. Static searchlight batteries and troops RAA 1943-45, AIF personnel. If worn upright as a vertical rectangle, it would be mobile searchlight batteries RAA.
7. Correct 1939-46. Also AIF personnel, 6th Aust Infantry Battalion 1942-44.
8. Correct, 1942-46.
7. Supply units, Australian Army Service Corps, New South Wales Line of Communications Area 1942-45, CMF personnel.
