Hi Peter,
Not a relative. Gilbert gave this photo and his presentation badge to the mother of my brother-in-law. She was a nurse and married a wounded New Zealander and then emigrated to New Zealand.
16936 Private Gilbert Rigby was awarded the 1914-18 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal. He survived the First World War and married Edith Washington in December 1921, Wirral, Cheshire.
