Interesting article. And yes, my memory may play a trick on me (it was ~50 years ago). Maybe even four of them were on the (full dress) uniform.

I have a photo of shoulder boards attributed to King George VI, and can vaguely remember seeing a uniform in the RAF Museum way back when with multiple cyphers.
