Default 3rd Dragoon Guards Variants

Picked up another addition to my Cavalry collection this morning top right.
I've noticed of the 5 badges only the bottom RHS two seem to be from the same die albeit different fixings.
Note the top left badge has the rounded number 3, this type discussed previously on the forum, but I can't find the thread.
I assume the amount of variants could be explained by war production.
Tony.

Looking at the slider length I would say 1906-29.

1929 was the year that the regiment received the new badge as they wore the pre-amalgamation ones after amalgamation.
