Camouflaged MK2 helmet with two unknown insignia
Hello,
I picked up this British camouflaged MK2 helmet a few days ago. There are two insignia that I can't identify. Can you help me ? Thanks. Regards, Jean Charles |

The hood is the type used by the Auxiliary Fire Service to prevent water going down the back of the neck!

Unfortunately when I try to use a smiling face emoji to indicate humour it shows as an exclamation mark.

Thank you for your answers.
Insignia may be tied to city of assignment (if AFS/NFS helmet). |

A camouflaged helmet is unlikely to have been used by civil defence.
