Default WRAC Tie colour?

Hi there, can anyone inform me what colour the tie was worn by the WRAC with their barrack dress (Lovat skirt, white blouse, bottle green pullover)? I'm referring to the actual tie, not the bottle green cravat type item worn with the Lovat dress tunic. Despite having been engaged and lived with a WRAC girl for over 2 years, it was 30 years ago, and cant remember the if the colour was black or dark green? Additionally, I cant remember if she ever wore the cravat with barrack dress, or if it was only the tie, anyone know what the normal dress regs were?

Any help appreciated, many thanks

Tony

Default WRAC tie

Hi Tony, Found this article, it mentions a tab tie, a khaki, & a dark green braid tie.

Hope this is helpful.

Cheers John, that's fantastic! must admit, I don't remember her tie being braided? but it was 89-90 so my memory isn't that reliable!

Regards

Tony
