Default Rifles Bandsman Headdress

Spotted this afternoon performing in Waterloo Station by my daughter.
When she asked permission to photograph his headdress and medals, (as per my instructions)
He answered "Jesus thanks love a face for radio or what"
Nice Cord Boss and Crossbelt badges.
Tony.

Nice that. Is the guy genuine ?
I find it odd that the crossbelt badge is the NCOs one and the crossbelt appears to be the WOs/Officers which is wider. The said badge is also in a totally wrong position (should be in the centre of the chest). Appears that theres no boss, chains or whistle on the belt either.

If he was a Walter, reckon the rest of the band would kick seven kinds of sh*te out of him .

Were they Army Reserves? I only ask because he must have had a break in service as he is missing a Jubilee medal not to mention any campaign medal after 1992 but has 15 years service for the LS&GC.

They have been at a couple of stations this week promoting the upcoming Massed Band and Bugles Sounding Retreat 2022 on Horse Guards Parade.
