I’ve a couple spare Grenadier Guards badges somewhere. Let me know if you need loops E-W or N-S or a slider. Be happy to swap you for that grenade. They look like a HAC style flames without the monogram.

Thanks a lot for your generous offer Luke! But I already have a spare G. Guards badge! (By the way...what is a loops E-W or N-S??) The most curious is that the cap doesn't have markings of have wore another badge before this one...looks like this was the only badge ever wear...

I am sure you know a lot about your regiment...is not my intention to teach you...I just wanted to ilustrated what I am learning about grenade badges!

I don't know...it looks like a HAC grenade without the monogram as you and Luke said...but the winnipeg grenadiers is really similar too...the badge is 55 mm...that helps in anyway?
