Question Help to identify this badge please.

Hi,
I'm trying to identify my gran uncles insignia. I believe he was in north Africa in WW2.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Slip on shoulder title seems to be CMP = Corps of Military Police

Is there any further information or a full photo ?

The badge 'appears' to have an Indian/Karachi connection and perhaps members could suggest unit/timescale based on uniform/capbadge if you have any other photos ?
