WW2 Wireless Operator/Air Gunner brevet - British made?

Another new addition to my collection is this RCAF Wireless Operator/Air Gunner wing. Although this wing is not made in the obvious & what I would call 'traditional' looking British silk thread, I wondered if it was actually British made & okay please?
