Here's a guess ACC No 1 dress, can be easy removed for No 2 dress and/or Mess dress?/ To save time and money??

The ACC backing is more 'gravy' grey. Not sure it would of been removable for Mess Dress etc. not seen that before. Tropical Dress??

It looks a bit more 'maize' coloured like Light Infantry.

Not Light Infantry David,LI only use the maize backing for No2s.
My initial thought was QRL or 17/21st Lancers

I have been informed it is likely Buff and possibly to the Cheshire Regt or as Mike H says 17/21st or QRL, still wandering about the fixing and what uniform it would go on
