Mystery wing
Hi! I have gotten this wing in a trade. It was accompanying a post WWII RCAF pilot wing, but this one is really a mystery to me. Does anyone know the origin or time period for this one?
Thanks! |

West German? Possibly cut from a cap badge?
I take back the cap badge suggestion, I think this style was in use as pilots wings at one time. |

From the 1959 Bundeswehr Regulations.
Wing badge for flying personnel of the army, air force and navy. To be worn above the right breast pocket by all flying personnel after completing flying training, or Navy equivalent. Silver on grey for the Army, Silver on bluegrey for the Air Force and Gold on blue of white for the Navy. Marc

Thank you!
No interest to me, as I am only interested in Canadian wings and cap badges… |
