3 buttons to identify volunteer battalion Colony RAF?

I can paste them into my browser and they work fine. So I guess I will wait for moderator help. Hello I could use some help with these three. I have spent a lot of time hunting on the net, but found no info. The volunteer? button is made by Firmin & Sons London. The Battalion? one is made by Dolan & Co. Bond Street Vauxhall. The Air Force? one is made by Gaunt & Son London. Badges & buttons are good for the brain. I learn something new everyday. Thank you in advance. Sorry I can't get my photos to appear. I will have to ask someone how to do that. I used the add image button in the post section and all it did was give a string of HTML code. I tried to post my own photos using my hosting service and still only saw a string of HTML code. I have posted some links to the photos until I can figure out a better way. Hello wouldn't you know it, after all this time of hunting for origin of the Air Force button, I found it this morning when hunting for a lion holding a world emblem. The button is Ceylon now Sri Lanka Air Force button. So one down and two to go. I will leave the links for the button as some may want to see it as I have not found another one pictured on the internet.

LFB is London Fire Brigade, this button is probably 1940s. The 1st, 3rd and 5th links come up as invalid?

The lion holding the tusk on the 'Lionair' button is of Rhodesian origin.
See Flag of British South Africa Company at http://flagspot.net/images/z/za-bsacb.gif And Rhodesian Air Force Ranks Here http://www.rhodesianforces.org/AirForceBadgesofRank.htm and Rhodesian Lion here http://www.proartshirts.com/0243rhodesianlion.html and here http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/20266...0S_19560S.html The Sri Lanka lion holds a Sword http://companylogos.ws/srilankalogo.html J:

Thank you so much for the help on the Fire Brigade and the Rhodesian Air Force button. I now just need the first button which has W M B in script. I posted the link in the URL address bar in my browser and the button does come up. Not sure why it did not load for you. You can't get to it using the search engine.

Hi Mary,
No problem. Can you email a picture of the WMB button? (deleted email address) Cheers, Phil

Hello the backmark on the button is Dolan & Co. Vauxhall. From what I can find the button probably dates in the late 1800s as the Dolan Co. was no longer in the directories after 1899. Would that make a difference?
