Default HELP WITH IDENTIFICATION NEEDED!

Can anyone help identify this badge. I have established that "Empelde" is near Ronnenberg, Lower Saxony, Germany.

Kind regards, Malcolm.

Malcom
Your badge is probably the “Hammer und Schlegel” badge from a German Miners (Bergleute) dress uniform, could be an arm or breast badge rather than a hat badge!

George.

Hello George,

Thank you for the interesting reply. I would think that you have solved the mystery as a subsequent Google locates "Empelde" in a mining area of Germany.

With kind regards, Malcolm.
