Can you help identify & translate?? this badge
I got this more years ago than I care to remember & still can't find what it is ! I was told it may be something to do with King Farouk or his bodyguard?

Hi
The word at the top is Farouk The section in the middle may be a word or may simply be decorative The bottom scroll reads harras al maliki - literally the guard of the king. Eddie

Hi,
Thanks for helping to confirm that the original description appears correct!  I've been trying to sort this for 36Years!! obviously got a long ways to go. Good job my main area is British & Gurkha regimental cap badges - there are pleanty of books on these topics! Thanks Again Eddie!
