HMS Highflyer 1898-1921.
She was present at Halifax 6/12/17 when the SS Mont-Blanc blew up and nine of her crew were killed in a boat going to investigate the fire.

Legend corroded away should read. VP POVTHOV NIKOPOLITON PROCI CT PON. (Magistrate name Novius Rufus)
