Default Egyptian

Hi,

I have been told that these might be Egyptian Pre Republic (1952) badges.

Would anyone be able to identify them for sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Invest

I don’t think they are Egyptian; the pre-revolution Kingdom of Egypt coat of arms has three has stars inside the crescent, and I also can’t find any depiction of a similar crown with three star and crescents.

Kingdom of Libya is a possibility, but the crown is the anomaly again.
Steve.

Hi,

I think the badge with the crown is Malaysian and most probably a pre-1940’s: Johore Police headdress badge (depending on size of course).

Zob.

Tinhat and Zob,

I should have realised that it didn't have the three star crescent in the crown.

I'll see what I can find on the internet in the way of similar Malaysian badges.

Many thanks to the both of you for your help

Default The Malaysian Police Force - Johor 1882

I found the attached images on the internet, and I was not expecting the hat badge to date from 1882
