I don't think circular plates are necessary the sign of a repro. I have only one badge with one attached and that's a w/m 21st London. However this Tank Corps one has to be put in context with some of the other items being sold such as a couple of WW1 or later armoured badges with 'pagri' sliders which have been very professionally attached. In my opinion this is a batch of fake badges doctored with attachments to fool the unwary.

here are the three plates in question together. no difference I can see. K.B's in the middle. Thought there may be some difference in letter shape or placement. but no. not good.
