Default Detector Find

Unknown cap badge probably. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Metal detector find in Gwent.

Thanks for that. The reason it looks plastic is that the finder spat on it to bring out any lettering. There isn't any.

This pattern relates to the Public school, but I have been told by Eddie that the 2nd or 3rd Battn also wore it late on in their existence. He would have to tell you which.

Would this patch go with the above badge... for the Monmouth CCF? (We used to call them "Mong"mouth..... beat them at Rugby a few times )

Not my field, but I thought that badge was for the South Wales Brigade, a home defence outfit for circa WW2.
Did you play us, Cardiff High?

Caaaaaardiff....... was a bit too far away. But Brecon High School yes..... never used to wash their kit.... Bloody OIKS!!!
