Could it be a collar for one of the Reserve Regiments? They usually had a Queen Victoria crown, unless they were carried over to George V. The lettering looks like the same kind of font. Just thinking out loud. David

I thought the same thing David...... but looking at Hugh Kings Cavalry collection that sold on Bosley's a couple of months back the Cap & the Collar for the Reserve Regiments were almost the same, certainly for the QVC anyway? I initially thought "Hussars Reserve" ERVII Cap/Slouch/Puggaree badge (late 2nd Boer War)..... but thats just a guess?

Griff - I'm still pondering this one, thus no attempt to identify just yet. Hopefully I will experience a eureka at some stage and spout forth further wisdom ! Or maybe not ! Regards. David
