Default Statuette and MN cap badge

Couple of acquisitions earlier ( not in my collecting fields )

Statuette of a soldier wearing an Arab type headdress, appears to be made by the same maker of a Kings Regiment drummer I used to have that was a pretty accurate representation) Any suggestions which unit this is please ?

Second item is a Merchant Navy cap badge, does anyone know which Company?

Thanks In anticipation.

P.

I think the statue may be the Arab Legion.

Thanks,
These are the best close ups I can get of the headdress.

Yes you can see the ORs cap badge for the TOS, shoulder titles aren't a bad representation too.
