3rd Dragoons / 10th Hussars Collar Badge
Would I be right in thinking that this is a 3rd Dragoons / 10th Hussars collar badge?
I’m aware that POW feathers are used by a number of different regiments and thought I’d best check. Also, would the badge have been worn by the Wiltshire Yeomanry and/or the West Yorkshire regiment?

It is indeed worn by the 10th H and 3rd DG, also by the 12th Lancers.
Not sure about the Wilts Yeomanry or anybody else. Chris |

Different designs were worn by W.Yorks and the Wilts Yeo to the one shown.
The 10th Hussars passed the same design on the Royal Hussars and then the Kings Royal Hussars. Both wear/wore that design in No1 dress. The KRH wear the same as the Wilts Yeo in No2/FAD today a small version of the large design. |

For the life of me, I see no difference in the design of the RWY collar badge. Their cap badge tends to have more upright scrolls from what I can determine.
The W. Yorks officer collar badge was the same design as the 10H and 3DG, but in silver/gilt. CB

There are a number of minor differences on makers' dies but the design was interchangeable between the cavalry regiments so I don't think you can readily match one to a specific unit.
