Default ID "God Grant Unity" ??

Can anyone ID this badge? It came from South Africa in the 1970s and the crossed flags are the same arrangement as on the Imperial Light Horse badge
Could it be a post-Boer War peace badge?

As it is 'numbered' it could be an early veterans association badge ?

There is a Facebook page :

Light Horse Regiment Veterans Association

Perhaps they can help.

T & J B could be :
Quote:
T & J Bragg was established c.1811 by Thomas Perry Bragg, from premises in Northwood Street, Birmingham. The move to Vittoria Street occured c.1850, and control of the business passed to the founder's sons, Thomas and John, following their father's retirement in 1852.

Curiously , given the mention of Masonic items , the motto of the Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights is "God Grant Unity" !

Could it be a veterans association for wheelwrights who served in the Boer War with the Imperial Light Horse

I know , it's a very long shot !
