Default Possible cap badge?

Hi,

New to this so apologies if my query has been answered somewhere before.

Sadly, last year my grandfather passed away and we had to empty and sell his house.

While tidying a wardrobe I came across this tiny pin/brooch/cap badge that we think belonged to my great uncle.

We think it may a Scottish link but can anyone perhaps give some more information?

Thank you,
Nat

Hello Nat, welcome to the Forum. Your account is active and open for posts.
With the horeshoe, the pin is likely some form of sweetheart or good luck item.

The grenade badge inside the horseshoe is for the Royal Scots Fusiliers and it is probably a WW1 period a sweetheart badge given by a soldier to his wife, girlfriend or sister.
