Default ROYAL ENGINEER badges

I do have a couple of these, maker marked T&S -Turner & Simpson. Anodised with brass sliders and one anodised with anodised slider.

Hi Jerry,

The 'silver' one would be a rarer nickle slider or other harder material and not aluminium - try bending it.

Jerry, there are a few variations on the Turner and Simpson brass or alloy sliders regarding the makers mark.

Indeed as you know there are numerous makers and variations of the Royal Enginers cap badge made in anodised alluminium For interests sake my RE anodised set:-

Mike H, Found it. See pictures.
It is a experimental badge by maker unknown. It has the "hook" style slider. See attached
I have another badge of similar design but with a "normal" slider attached.

Yes, the one piece badge and if you look at Mike H above his one is slightly different again.

I have 15 different Light Infantry ORs beret/cap badges. Plus 4 or 5 new metal ones on top.
