Default Air force from somewhere??

Hi guys . I'm here again to ask the experts ! Got this tie clip in a job lot and I think it could be something military . I do not know why but my gut is saying french ? It may not even be military but I am stuck and this is one of the places I come , quite often, when I am !! Any help as usual is appreciated and as you guys are probably aware I buy and sell rather than collect thanks for looking ! IMG_20190903_234711.jpg

Isn't the same propellor and wings badge worn as collar badge by current US Army Aviation branch, ie those that fly helicopters for recce, attack and air assault as well as small aircraft types?
