Good evening guys .

If anybody would be so kind , I have a button that I am struggling with

very nice detail and by Firmin so I am guessing by the shield on the bottom could even be Scottish!?

Just to be clear I intend to sell it rather than keep , I am not a collector.

Quite right, a livery button. There are so many of these that identification can be very difficult. You might try searching this site -
